HHH Given Peace Award

On the eve of November 15th, 2007, HHH was invited to an awards ceremony held by Charlotte Area Peace Corp Associates in a quaint little store meeting room on Central Avenue and Thomas St. near the Plaza.
HHH was honored on this evening and awarded a certificate of Excellence and a Peace Award for fostering a sense of community harmony. There was a brief speech by Rollon Washington and others. The attendees were: Rollon, Beth Wells, Claudia Moses, Shashana Yahh, and Leval Edmunds.

As a CAPCA member and returned Peace Corps volunteer, I'd also like to applaud HHH for this award. What you are doing matters, not just locally but internationally, since you are setting an example for how to deal constructively with problems in spite of great injustice.
You earned this award, both neighbors and your facilitator Liz Clasen.
